Fuel the Journey. Shape the Future.
Empowering Boys of Color to Lead Without Limits
At the Thornhill Rites of Passage Foundation (TROPF), we walk alongside young men of color as they become confident, grounded leaders. We empower them to navigate challenges — social, economic, and developmental — so they can secure access to a future without limits. Your support makes this possible.
Why Your Gift Matters
Our boys are brilliant, capable, and full of potential. Too often, they lack access to affirming spaces, trusted mentors, and experiences that build identity, vision, and leadership. TROPF fills that gap.
Through culturally grounded mentorship, outdoor experiential learning, and our leadership-based M3 Conference, boys learn to:
Believe in who they are
Take ownership of their choices
Step into leadership with confidence
Our Core Pillars
These aren’t buzzwords — they are the foundation of our program, woven into every activity, mentorship circle, and experience.
Character. Competence. Competitiveness. Citizenship.

Your Impact
Every contribution — small or large — moves a young man closer to a future without limits.
Sponsor students who otherwise couldn’t participate
Support transformational outdoor experiences like rock climbing, ziplining, and whitewater rafting

Expand leadership opportunities such as the M3 Conference

Train alumni mentors who guide younger cohorts
You Are Part of the Circle
Families. Alumni. Mentors. Community partners.
Your generosity keeps the circle unbroken and ensures the doors we open today remain open for future generations.
KAMP HūROP Recap

This summer, Kamp HÅ«ROP served 26 young men, delivering an immersive experience focused on leadership, mentorship, and real-world skill development. Participants engaged in hands-on programming in AI and technology, personal branding and identity, legal literacy, financial empowerment, and leadership development. Through the Foundation’s Core4—Character, Competence, Competitiveness, and Citizenship—young men were challenged to build confidence, strengthen their skills, and expand their vision for the future. Older students stepped into leadership as junior counselors and mentors, creating a powerful peer-to-peer pipeline. Community partners and professionals brought learning to life through relevant, culturally responsive experiences. Kamp HÅ«ROP turned the summer into action, developing young men today while building the next generation of leaders for tomorrow.

The Thornhill Rites of Passage Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Isa Stokes, MSTOD, as our first Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships
Isa joins the Foundation after serving as an Executive in Residence through the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte, where he played an instrumental role in helping expand the Foundation’s vision, partnerships, and long-term growth strategy.
As Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships, Isa will lead the Foundation’s efforts in partnership development, fundraising strategy, revenue generation, ecosystem building, and national expansion. His work will focus on creating sustainable models that allow the Foundation to scale its impact across schools, communities, and cities throughout the country.

This appointment represents more than a leadership transition—it represents a commitment to scaling impact.
Together, we will continue building pathways that help young men move from potential to purpose, from exposure to opportunity, and from leadership development to lifelong success.
