Session: Money Matters

Objective: Teach the basic elements of money management including salaries for different professions, creating a budget, saving, establishing credit and investing.  Participants will also learn test taking strategies for each stage of your educational journey.

Date/Time: October 19, 2024 @ 12:00 pm – 6:30 pm (Please arrive by 11:45 AM so we can promptly start our session by 12 PM)

Attire: TROPF Navy Polo, Khaki Pants, and Comfortable Shoes/Sneakers (Young men will be taking picture for Cohort Announcement)

Assignment: 

• Introduce yourself (NAME) to your neighbors and tell them about your rites of passage experience

• Bring ideas for how you plan to double your $250 investment (dollars will be provided during session)

• Share your idea(s) for business pitch competition

Items to bring: Always bring TROPF Backpack, Portfolio, and Water bottle. Bring vision board, marker and glue.
