Purpose: In preparation for the Small Business Pitch Competition, the Thornhill Rites of Passage Foundation will launch its inaugural Entrepreneurship Lab to facilitate young men flushing out their business ideas, rotating through a number of stations with coaching and guidance from industry professionals, and increasing knowledge sharing and collaboration amongst their peers. Our intended outcome is that the young men will be better prepared for the competition and have the confidence needed as they take the main stage.
Preparation: Using the attached PowerPoint template as a guide (this has been updated to align with competition guidelines and judges rubric), you should come to the Entrepreneurship Lab with a draft of your presentation. This presentation will be used to receive mentor feedback at each of the stations. You will also deliver and get feedback on your verbal pitch, so continue to practice.
Stations: Young men will rotate through each of the six stations where there will be a mentor, an assigned topic to review, and an IPAD that can be used to research additional information.

o Station #2 – Target Audience, Competition & My Product or Service
o Station #3 – Amount of Money Needed
